*11-11-11 Chess Tournament

     Haylee and Mackenzie both attended the district wide chess tournament held on November 11, 2011.  Mackenzie was thrilled because she got her very first trophy!  Then, because it was 11/11/11, all the kids who got 11th place in each age group, got another special prize.  And Mackenzie was 11th in her group!  She chose a chess set that is much like the ones they play with and it comes with a handy carrying case.
     Haylee also earned a medal in her age group.  Way to go girls!
