Mackenzie and Haylee checking out the stockings.
Nathan's stocking. I took pictures of all of the stockings but decided Natalee and Haylee would be too embarrassed since they had bras in their stockings. :)
We got a surprise visit from Shelby on Christmas morning! The kids were convinced that she must have known it was Christmas and wanted to come see us on this special day.
Nathan enjoying some snacks from his stocking.
We have the kids draw names for gifts for each other so they don't have to buy something for everyone. Kelsey drew Nathan's name and picked out this toy car for him.
She was delighted by how much he loved it!
Mackenzie got this horse from Natalee. Natalee fixed it up before giving it to her by cleaning it and "dying" its mane pink. Mackenzie named it Frosty.
Natalee is starting to like more mature gifts. We didn't really know what to get her because she wasn't sure either. So we got her these really nice boots. She loved them and wears them ALL the time!
Grandma Poetschlag got some slippers.
Kelsey wanted a ladybug pillow pet so badly and she got her wish! She named it Hush-a-bye.
All Mackenzie wanted for Christmas was a tiara. She asked Santa to bring her one and she was a bit disappointed when she didn't find one in her stocking Christmas morning. Santa must have realized Mommy and Daddy had already bought her one. I luckily captured this awesome expression when she opened the box and saw the tiara! :)
A couple of Haylee's favorite gifts were a watch and an mp3 player. She's wearing a BYU sweatshirt from Grandma Moffitt. Grandma Moffitt also ordered one of these crocheted ear warmers for each of the girls. They were all a little different.
Daren and I got a Roku from my mom and dad. I wasn't convinced that we'd fall in love with it but they were right and we did. Now we think we might need another one for the other TV because the Wii just isn't cutting it. It's great for watching Netflix on but doesn't have all the other awesome roku channels we're enjoying (especially Pandora and Angry Birds!) We had a great last Christmas in our beautiful house. Right after this, the real packing and hard work began! :)
