Natalee is 11!

School started early this year but Natalee still got to have her birthday 5 days before the first day of school.  The Moffitt cousins were visiting as well so she was excited to have cousins to celebrate with.  All she wanted for her birthday was this one toy, and to go eat at Golden Dragon.  It's definitely getting harder and harder to surprise her as she gets older.  We got her the toy she wanted-a Littlest Pet Shop Treehouse with a walking pet- and the whole family went to lunch at the Golden Dragon.  My parents, Grandma Poetschlag, Mike, and his 4 kids were all there with our whole family.  After Golden Dragon, I took the 4 girls to Pinney Pool and my mom and Mike took his kids there too.  Daren stayed home with Nate because the last time he went swimming the cholorine had really bothered his eyes and he even got a bloody red spot in one of them.  The kids had a great time swimming together.
Daren had also gone to pick up our oven, which was unfortunatley scheduled to arrive at Sears that day.  Because we had no oven, my mom kindly baked Natalee's birthday cake for her.  She asked for a pineapple upside-down cake.  Because we'd had such a big lunch, she just wanted pizza hot pockets for dinner.  Everyone came over to watch her open her presents and have cake and ice cream.  I hope Natalee had a wonderful 11th birthday!

A present from Mike and Cindy

My mom and dad got her the book, "Michael Vey" by Richard Paul Evans.  She has already finished it.

Littlest Pet Shop Treehouse

She got all of the candles out but one, which we teased her about because there was a vent above the table making it hard to keep the candles lit long enough to sing "Happy Birthday" to her!
