STAR Test Results

     Starting in 3rd grade, all kids in CA do the state testing called STAR testing.  They take the tests towards the end of the year, and then the results are mailed to us the beginning of the next year.  We just received Natalee's and Haylee's STAR test results from last year in the mail today.  In 3rd and 4th grade, they take tests in mathematics and language arts.  In 5th grade they add a science test.  We were very proud of Natalee and Haylee.  Haylee reached the 'advanced' level in both mathematics and language arts.  Natalee also was 'advanced' in math, language arts, and science.  She has always gotten a pretty high score in mathematics, but our jaws dropped when we saw her test results this time.
