Kelsey and the Dolly

We've been doing some remodeling in our new house.  Nothing too major, just some new floors, a new backsplash, painting the cabinets white, and replacing the appliances.  Unfortunately, it's been a bit more of an undertaking than we expected.  We aren't exactly expert tile layers.  But we somehow survived and finished the tiling a couple of days ago.  Our new oven comes in tomorrow, then the carpet in a week and our projects will be complete, finally!
In the meantime, we needed to figure out what to do with the existing appliances, and we needed to get them out of the house to finish the tiling.  Through the help of facebook, we found homes for the refrigerator and oven, and our new refrigerator was already delivered and waiting in the garage.  In order to not damage the tiling we had already done, we decided we had better get an appliance dolly (which is apparantly actually called a hand cart) to move all these appliances around.  Daren got ready to go to High Desert Home Center to rent their dolly and he asked if any of the girls wanted to come with him.  Kelsey was very happy to go with her daddy to pick up the dolly.
When they got home, Kelsey was visibly upset.  Daren explained that she had thought they were going to pick up a different kind of dolly.  Poor kid looked like she was about to cry.  Luckily, the next weekend I was at a yard sale and there was a cabbage patch doll that looked brand new for only $1.  When I brought it home, Kelsey just lit up and Daren said, "Is that the kind of dolly you were wanting, Kelsey?"  She loves her new baby and plays with it all the time.  I'd tell you what she named her but I'm not really sure.  First it was 'Flower.'  Then she was saying her name was 'Rose.'  But she doesn't ever seem to call her baby by her name.  She always just says, "My baby was crying," "Be quiet! My baby is sleeping!" etc.  It's really quite adorable.  And I'm glad we were able to get Kelsey the dolly she really wanted.
